Medicare & Legal Disclaimers
Effective: May 15, 2026 · Last updated: May 15, 2026
1. Required CMS Medicare marketing disclaimer
This is the federally required disclaimer for third-party Medicare marketing organizations (TPMOs):
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 15 organizations which offer 228 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.
The 15 organizations / 228 products counts reflect Manny’s current South Florida carrier appointments and are re-verified before each Annual Enrollment Period.
2. Not affiliated with the government
MannyMedicare.com is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration, or the federal Medicare program. The MannyMedicare.com name and logo are not federal property; they belong to Manny Leon.
3. Independent agent & licensing
Manny Leon is a Florida-licensed independent health and life insurance agent appointed with multiple Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D carriers in Florida. Manny is licensed in Florida only; if you live outside Florida, Manny cannot enroll you and will gladly refer you to a qualified agent in your state.
License details can be verified through the Florida Department of Financial Services (myfloridacfo.com) and the National Producer Number (NPN) on the National Insurance Producer Registry (nipr.com).
4. Compensation disclosure
Manny is compensated by the insurance carrier whose plan you choose — not by you. Commissions are paid according to CMS-set rates that are the same across carriers for Medicare Advantage and Part D plans, so Manny has no financial incentive to steer you to any one carrier. Manny’s job is to find the plan that fits your doctors, prescriptions, county, and budget.
5. Plan availability and accuracy
Plan benefits, premiums, copays, formularies, provider networks, and OTC catalogs change annually and sometimes mid-year. Information on this website is general and illustrative; specific plan details will be reviewed with you, in writing, before you enroll. Always confirm benefits with the carrier’s Evidence of Coverage and the carrier’s current Summary of Benefits.
6. TCPA & consent to be contacted
By submitting the lead form or otherwise giving Manny your phone number, you authorize Manny Leon and MannyMedicare.com to contact you at the number you provided by phone call, voicemail, and text message (SMS), including by automated dialing systems and pre-recorded messages where permitted, for the purposes of discussing Medicare insurance options, scheduling appointments, and following up on enrollment.
Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You may revoke consent at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message,
- Telling Manny on a call to remove you from his list, or
- Emailing quote@mannymedicare.com.
7. Non-discrimination notice (Section 1557)
MannyMedicare.com complies with applicable federal civil-rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or marital status. Manny does not exclude, deny benefits to, or treat anyone differently for any of these reasons.
8. Language assistance
Manny speaks English and Spanish. Free language-assistance services for other languages are available on request — we will arrange a qualified telephonic interpreter at no cost to you.
Español: Servicios gratuitos de asistencia lingüística están disponibles. Llame al (786) 344-5492.
Kreyòl Ayisyen: Sèvis èd pou lang ki disponib gratis. Rele (786) 344-5492.
9. Scope of Appointment (SOA)
Federal Medicare rules require that, before a sales meeting, you and Manny agree on which products will be discussed. The Scope of Appointment is a CMS-mandated form that documents that agreement. Signing an SOA is not an application and does not enroll you in anything.
10. Enrollment-period reminder
You can generally enroll in or change a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan during:
- Initial Coverage Election Period (ICEP) — around your 65th birthday;
- Annual Election Period (AEP) — October 15 to December 7;
- Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (MA-OEP) — January 1 to March 31;
- Special Enrollment Periods (SEP) — if you qualify (move, loss of coverage, dual-eligible status, etc.).
Manny will confirm the right election period for your situation before submitting an application.
11. Carrier names & trademarks
Carrier names mentioned on this site (Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, CarePlus, Devoted Health, Simply Healthcare, Preferred Care Partners, Preferred Care Network, HealthSun, Solis, Freedom, Doctors HealthCare, Cigna/HealthSpring, Optimum, Prominence, and others) are the trademarks of their respective owners. Mention of a carrier indicates that Manny may review plans from that carrier; it does not imply endorsement of MannyMedicare.com by that carrier.
