1. Who we are
MannyMedicare.com is owned and operated by Manny Leon, an independent Florida-licensed health and life insurance agent based in South Florida. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “Manny” refer to Manny Leon doing business as MannyMedicare.com.
MannyMedicare.com is not a Medicare carrier, a health plan, or a government agency. We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration, or any other federal program.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit the lead form on our home page, you choose to share:
- Your name — so Manny knows who to ask for when he calls.
- Your phone number — so Manny can call or text you about a Medicare review.
- Your ZIP code — so Manny can identify the plans available in your county.
We do not request your Social Security number, Medicare or Medicaid ID, date of birth, or medical history through this website. If those are needed for a specific enrollment, Manny will collect them directly during a private appointment using carrier-approved enrollment tools (such as Spark Advisors, SunFire, or a carrier’s own platform).
2.2 Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider may log standard server information (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you view) for security and basic site analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details on cookies and tracking.
2.3 Information from third parties
When you become a client and Manny submits an application on your behalf, Manny receives information back from the insurance carrier (such as enrollment confirmation, member ID, and plan details). We treat this information under the same standards described in this policy and our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you share to:
- Return your call within one business day to schedule a Medicare review;
- Look up the Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans available in your county;
- Check whether your doctors, hospitals, and prescriptions are covered;
- Help you enroll in a plan if you choose to move forward;
- Follow up during the year about plan changes, AEP (Annual Enrollment Period), or eligibility for new benefits;
- Comply with state and federal Medicare marketing rules.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- The carrier you choose — if you authorize Manny to submit an application, the carrier receives the information needed to issue your policy.
- Service providers Manny uses to run his practice (for example, the CRM that stores his book of business, the email service that delivers form submissions, and the calendar tool used to schedule appointments). These vendors are contractually limited to handling your information on Manny’s behalf.
- CMS and regulators, when required by Medicare marketing rules, state insurance regulators, or a valid legal request.
5. How long we keep your information
CMS requires Medicare agents to retain enrollment-related records for at least ten (10) years. Lead-only records (no enrollment) are kept for the shorter of (a) the active relationship plus two years, or (b) ten years, after which they are securely deleted.
6. Your rights and choices
You can, at any time:
- Ask what information we have about you;
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong;
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to the retention rule above);
- Tell us to stop calling or texting you;
- Withdraw your TCPA consent (see our Disclaimers page).

7. Security
Manny uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — encrypted form transmission, password-protected client files, and access limits on the CRM. No website or method of transmission is 100% secure, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated.
8. Children
MannyMedicare.com is intended for Florida adults eligible for or approaching Medicare eligibility. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. State-specific notices
9.1 California residents
Although Manny is licensed in Florida only, if you happen to be a California resident interacting with this site, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its CPRA amendments may grant you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your information, but you may still exercise these rights by contacting us using the addresses above.
9.2 Florida residents
Florida’s insurance privacy rules (Fla. Stat. ch. 626 and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act regulations) require us to give you notice of our information practices, an opt-out for certain sharing, and the right to access and correct nonpublic personal information. This policy serves as that notice. You may opt out of any optional information sharing by contacting us.
10. Health information (HIPAA)
When Manny handles information that qualifies as Protected Health Information (PHI) — such as your Medicare number, plan ID, or medical conditions discussed during a private appointment — that information is governed by our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which provides stricter protections than this general Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the law changes, as our practice grows, or as we add new tools. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, post a notice on the home page for thirty (30) days.
